Once you begin to hear God speak to you through your Bible reading, you can better communicate back to Him. Prayer is when you speak to God and when God speaks to you. It’s a two-way conversation.

Throughout history, God has spoken to people and given them direction. God wants to speak to you, as well. God says in Jeremiah 33:3, "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know." NKJV)
