Day 9: It's the thought that counts
Bring her a small gift today and say "I was thinking of you." It could be her favorite candy, gum, a cute mug from the coffee shop where you had a meeting today, or a pretty pen (women love the stationary aisle at big box stores and specialty shops).
Coach's corner:
Even though your wife's "love language" may not be giving/receiving gifts, it truly is the thought that counts. Even if you simply hand her the little 3 oz bottle of hazelnut syrup and say, "I saw this display when I was meeting Bill, and I know how much you like this stuff," it tells her something priceless: You were on my mind.
(If you haven't already, determine the different ways you are naturally good at showing generosity and kindness with this online Generosity Assessment.)
The 30-Day Kindness Challenge is brought to you via our partnership with Shaunti Feldhahn, and is based on her research for The Kindness Challenge.
