Day 10 of the Kindness Challenge!

Day 10: Canceling their concerns

When your person looks in the mirror, or contemplates their life, what do you think he or she worries about? That he will miss his sales targets and the team will be upset? That she might be replaced by someone younger? That no one likes working with her? Say something today that will encourage your coworker in that specific area. ("You've been working your tail off, and the team has noticed." "I've noticed that both the parents and your students really like working with you." "I'm glad I was paired up with you for this project because I learned some things from you.")

Coach's Corner: As you purposefully give praise, it impacts you just as much as the other person.

"Purposeful praise is the antidote to the human tendency to focus on what we don't have rather than what we do. It is the prescription for becoming content and happy no matter our situation." – The Kindness Challenge
