Day 30. You've made it!
Thirty days later, and we hope you have not only changed your relationship with your child, but have lightened your heart. Today, look back on all you learned, review your gift journal or personal notebook, and be encouraged. Take the final kindness assessment to see how far you've come.
What is one thing that you want to make sure you keep doing as you move forward? Make a commitment to do it, and tell someone else for accountability. Even if your relationship hasn't yet changed as much as you would like, don't give up! Some concerns may take a long time to heal, but the effort is worth it.
Coach's Corner: If you have been doing this Challenge with a group, schedule a group get-together to touch base and see how the habit of kindness is going. This will help to turn the kindness habit into a kindness lifestyle. Also, is there someone else with whom you want a better relationship? Consider starting the 30-Day Kindness Challenge again, for them. You'll see that it is much easier now that you've already become a person of kindness.
