Day 21 of the Kindness Challenge!

Day 21: Accountability check

Of the three daily Kindness Challenge elements (nixing the negative, practicing praise, and carrying out kindness), which one is easiest to do and which is the most difficult for you? In your notebook, write down the reasons for both, and what you most want to keep doing (that's working well), and what you need to stop doing (in order to build a better relationship with your child).

Coach's Corner: Are you concerned that kindness might enable poor behavior? Realize that being kind is not the same thing as being "nice," and includes the strength to do what is best for the other person—even when that is difficult. (See Chapter 3 of The Kindness Challenge for more about boundaries.)

The 30-Day Kindness Challenge is brought to you via our partnership with Shaunti Feldhahn, and is based on her research for The Kindness Challenge.
