Hey Family,
I want to thank you for sharing with me and my team that you want to learn more about Christ and what it means to accept Him as your Lord and Savior. This is why we do what we do! Each time someone takes a next step to grow closer to God, our day is made, and we are rejoicing because this means God is doing something special.
Before understanding that what it means to make Jesus your Lord and Savior, you first have to reflect on your life and admit that you aren’t perfect. You must first understand that daily we do wrong to ourselves, to others and to God. This wrong, is what God teaches us to understand as Sin. The bible says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” That said, becoming a Christian means believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He died as the ultimate sacrifice for all of our sins. He did this because God loves us and does not want us to perish as a result of our sins. To accept Christ as our lord and Savior means to receive the love he gave us by dying for our sins. The bible also says, “For God so loved the World that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” This is the basis of making Jesus Christ your lord and savior.
